Need truck transportation in Southern California?

Look no further than Northface Trucking!

Celebrating over 20 years of operation in and around California

We cover Southern California, into Northern California, and parts of Nevada and Arizona.

Northface Trucking started on June 12, 1989, when Danny Hill (Owner/Operator) went out to Romoland, California with Jim Jennings and made a deal on his first truck and trailer, a 1964 Autocar, and a 1968 Garwood semi bottom dump. He currently drives a 1996 Kenworth T-800, and a Slide Axle Lowbed.

Danny began driving a truck in the construction industry and continues in that industry today. He also hauls other freight with his slide axle lowbed, machinery, storage containers, and autos. Danny has winched on a 40,000 pound (loaded) shipping container. According to Danny “I will haul anything that can be driven or winched on, from trailers to autos to small apartments on skids.”

Danny uses many types of trailers to do his job. He has used a vast array of equipment: flatbeds, dropdecks, stretch trailers, RGNs, slide axle lowbeds, end dumps, 5 and 9 axle semi bottom dumps, and semi side dumps (see Photos).

Born and raised in California, Danny's hometown was Central Valley, California. He began driving semi trucks when he was 18 years of age and purchased his first truck 7 years later. Danny currently lives in Norco, California, "Horsetown USA," with his wife, 2 cats, 2 dogs and 5 horses.

Danny is affiliated with California Dump Truck Owners Association, Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, and Tow Partners.

“My grandfather, Bud, taught all of his 8 grandsons, including me, how to drive, up on the ranch, in his 1955 F-550 12’ flatbed. When you get my truck and I in your neighborhood, you will understand. . . that man did teach us how to drive!”
